Johan Botha reported for a suspect action....again

Amazing how a bit of success against the Aussies leads to a bowler getting reported. Honestly, how many bowlers have been reported for a suspect action after playing against the Aussies down the years?

You watch- Shoaib Akhtar will be reported again for a suspect action in Dubai, and in October, India's Pragyan Ojha will be reported for a suspect action after playing the Aussies. You read it here first.

Definitely pings some deliveries but then so do other more high profile boggly eyed bowlers which makes a mockery of the whole reporting process...

I hope in that case all the England seamers get reported in October ... some hopes.

Numerous bowlers going around at the moment ping the odd delivery, and have been doing so for a long time now- Tait, Lee, Mills, Shoaib, Lawson, Botha, Harbhajan, Shoaib Malik, Ojha....

It just seems that it only comes to the attention of the match referees after the Aussies have had a good old sook about it. After they've shouted down the Kiwi's for rightly accusing Tait and Lee, of course...

I am not suprised.

I was wathing Botha the other day and immediately though "this bloke is chucking again".

His doosra was especially bad (right up there with Murali's).

It would make a farce of the system if he wasn't reported (which isn't saying much because the system is already farcical).

Have the Aussies clocked onto Amjad's bouncer yet?

Or are they confident he won't even make it too the Ashes?

And in other news, the ICC suspects that grass is green and sky is blue.

Then they go straight back to pinging.
