Re: Just watched T2
IMO a case where the sequel is better than the original.
Although some people disagree with that.

The first one is good, but it does looks outdated now. Like I said before, the second one could have been made last month.

Re: Just watched T2
It was good fun until it got shit at the end.
"Now I understand why you cryyyy." How? When did this happen? Talk about shoe-horned in.
"The Terminator learned the value of human life. Maybe someday, so can we..."
Oh f*ck off with your preaching.

... and completely out of keeping with the fun but superficial nature of the crash-bang-wallop action thriller-ness of the two hours that had passed before.
Re: Just watched T2
Americans love their films to have a feel good ending. Personally I was hoping the big 'T' would remember his roots and blow the hag away...

I'm also a little bitter that the Terminator TV series has been canceled.
Although it wasn't amazing. Had some promise though.

I thought SCC was pretty damn good. I know some people were expecting loads of action because it was Terminator but the story of the show interested me more than any action would have.

Re: Just watched T2
Dunno how many of you guys read comics and tradepaperbacks, but I recommend getting a copy of Terminator: The Burning Earth tpb. It was fist published as a 5 part series by Now Comics after the first Terminator movie and was the master painter Alex Ross' first fully painted comic series. It is a brilliant preclude to the original movie and painted so well it looked like real movie frames. It's a definate collector's item for Terminator fans.
Freebooters will probably find a digital copy to view on computer in one of those torrented sites if one checks up for Alex Ross or Terminator comics. Probably.
