Unlikely.
During and before the T20 world cup A Qadir had some disagreements with the PCB so he decided to resign and now with Wasim Bari back as the chief selector i don't expect him to try out the new talent UNLESS Younis forces him to pick some of the youngsters.

Faisal and MB,
Can you tell us something about these Pakistani and Australian players?
I know White, Voges, Henriques, Krejza and Bollinger. Who are the others?
And apart from Hafeez, I don't recognize any of the Pakistani players.

McKay and Holland ....Horrie or one the other Vomits will be able to tell you about them
Bollinger ...Dubber with some roadkill nesting on his head ...handy left armer

Who is the second keeper for Australia who'll replace Haddin if he gets injured or is unable to play due to some reason?

Graham Manou. 30 year old South Australian keeper. Athletic gloveman, but inconsistent with the bat until last season.

Re: Pakistan A vs Australia A
Voges is in fantastic form at the minute but he can't reach three figures to save his life. I think he's averaging 80 with Notts this season, a fifty in four/five consecutive innings with a fifty in almost (if not) every match, but he still can't get to three figures. This is his second spell with Notts. and he still doesn't have a hundred in any form of the game. He looks such a good player as well but he doesn't have that machine like ability to keep making big runs. You can see why a few Aussies high up rate him when you watch him 'cause he's such a good player on any pitch, but big runs are needed.

Brett Geeves would have been playing but withdrew from the four day games to give his broken toe some extra time to heal. He'll take his place for the limited over games.

Krejza scored a century

It has to. And it'll go on tomorrow again. Why did you expect it to be over by now though?

M Talha- Quite sharp but very raw! Won't be ready for test cricket for another year or so.
W Riaz- Left hander- Not as sharp as Aamer hence an inferior bowler but still sharp enough to get a few wickets here and there.
Naved Arif- Don't know much
A Rehman- Slightly overaged bowler but deserves a chance, IIRC he got 11 wickets in the test series vs SA and totally out bowled Kaneria.
Batsmen
Who cares about evil batsmen other than Umar Akmal who is Kamran's brother and i think he kind of bats like Kamran as well.
Wicket Keeper
Sarfraz- He has played for Pakistan and looked alright with the gloves but not so much with the bat yet

Thanks for the input, Faisal. It seemd that Pakistani team is quite young as such apart from Misbah. So yeah! You do need evil batsmen for your team so that they can score enough runs for your revered bowlers to defend, no?
PlanetPakistan wrote:chandan,

I'm really serious about 'A' tours. And this is one gripe I have with BCCI since last 10 years that they do not hold enough matches at A level abroad for the younger players to get enough exposure!

World cricket has been destroyed by every thing in favor of batsmen, most times i root for bowlers regardless of their nationality.
