The Defining Moments of The Ashes 2009 (Predictions)
England's top 6 crumble under the pressure of Siddle and Clark, only to be saved by a fantastic rear guard from Sidebottom and Broad, whom both take 5fers in the Australia innings to win the Test for England.
Bear in mind, this is a prediction for any of the 5 Test's, not a specific one.

Also, Brett Lee treads on a medicine ball and ends up in a wheelchair for the whole series to the dismay of all England fans and players.

Monty Panesar's vital 20 not out to save England from an imminent follow on, only to drop Ponting in the deep on 12 in the Australian reply. Ponting goes onto make 104 and Monty takes the catch 2nd time round.

Are you expecting Hauritz to master the slider by the time he gets chosen?
Catch Bopara padding up to a straight ball?

He may have a poor series, but it won't be from him being meek, starstruck, or not very confident.

No, it will probably be from having a poor technique.

I hope Bopara drops that dodgy celebration. I know he's from Essex, but he doesn't have to show it

Hughes has already shown a lot more than Bopara though. There's a big difference between Steyn and Taylor.

But hughes having a dodgy technique has nothing to do with how good Bopara is or isn't.

Re: The Defining Moments of The Ashes 2009 (Predictions)
Hughes' technique will either be the bane of Englands summer or the single most important factor to England getting past any niggling opening stands.
The short ball will be the way forward though. Expect Broad and Flintoff to pepper him with them.

Good point.
Bottom line: I think Bopara is pretty rubbish.

That still has nothing to do with it.
