Well re. Pakistan, it could be argued that we do know HTF that happened.....I recall it was the very liberal use of the FARKIN sweep shot and no-one seemed to learn from the terrible demise of all the batsmen who fell to it before they came out to sweep....bunch of QUNTS!!

I put myself through highlights of the 2005 2nd test for some reason. I felt sure Bung and Kaspa were going to get there this time.

Hah! Lords 2005...a flash in the pan, McG's last real Hurrah...Swansong if you like (well in England anyways)....and all because that dastardly slope assisted him.......and you are telling me that Lee's C&B of Strausser in the 2nd knock was clean...after the seam took out half the outfield as Lee slid along????? Once we got onto the flat the real quality shone through......
Anyways...how much had Warney's proxy bet on an England win at Edgebaston when he

Let's see. Off the memory:
*Losing to Pak at Kolkotta in 2000
*Near action replay of the same test seen in the 3rd test in Pak in 2006
*Barbados test 1997
*Losing the second test to Zim in harare in 2001

Re: "WTF happened here" test matches
England have a WTF happened here Test every time they tour. Adelaide Down Under, the other four Tests down under, Sabina Park in the recent Windies tour, 1st Test in India the tour before that, 1st Test in NZ last time we were there, 1st Test in Pak last time we were there. LITERALLY every tour.
When we were in SL maybe less so but we were skittled for under 100 in a rain-affected draw, lost three wickets in an over clinging on, all this after we got thrashed even after Hoggard's miracle burst on the opening day in the 1st Test.

Yes, the rape of Aus at Perth next up was the most gratifying. So was the 2-0 rape handed out in the follow up home series...
