bye v bye - the nicknames comp

most of us concede that prior and haddit are two of the worst keepers in the history of test cricket...neither seem to have nicknames illustrative of their powers (or lack thereof) behind the stumps, so let's have a go -

Haddin - the sieve, cymbols (clangers)
Prior - Michael Jackson (as in the glove was adecorative affectation), scissorhands

I expect at some time during this series the Aussies will start calling Prior 'Herschelle'

"Sieve" - I think that might stick.

Hopefully Priors nickname will be the same as a certain saffie who dropped the world cup

In fairness to Haddin, it must be difficult to keep to a bowler like Hauritz who puts such a huge amount of spin on the ball.

I was hoping people would forget that.

Still, Brad is the one making the runs. Can't be long before someone suggest using him for his batting ONLY, and giving Manou a chance.

Haddin = 'Almost'; as in Almost Haddim.

Prior = 'Richard', as in the joker/ comedian Richard Pryor.

Why the hell Australia insist on 6 batsman when Haddin can do the all rounders job at 6 is beyond me.

but haddin is not an all rounder...he is simply a bloke who can bat but had an unhealthy obsession with michael jackson, donned the gloves and got confused for being a keeper
