Ah, a great man was our Denis, the backbone of the equally great and illustrious Margaret.
H -
My moment was inspired by all the outpourings on the Quntish thread, where gnashing and wailing contributors caused me great amusement as they collectively sought to vent their exposed spleens in attempts to find ways and means to rectify "the problems" on this forum.
Whilst still chuckling at its contents I continue to ask myself ... What f**king problems ?
This is a predominatly cricket forum and we're all on here for a laugh and a p"ss-take ...so, soak it up FFS!
Our Denis would've done as much as he reached for the Gin bottle!

I've already said before that I'd rather a free flowing head to head scrap over 5 days (well 4 now that Bell is playing) than having to ponce on and off the field dodging showers and amassing the 'overs yet to be bowled in a day' column.
But I sensed a certain Aussie nationalistic theme creeping in that needed culling immediately .... it won't do y'know ... absolutely not.
As mentioned on certain other threads on here, this boorish attitude and quntish behaviour just will not do, so back off and know your place.
geddit ....
Edit: PS I just love it when a plan comes together ... I've even got Horrie all uppity and huffed - and bugger me, even agreeing with skulls !!

I admit to a soft spot for DH. Anyone who could put up with that bitch deserved a peerage.

There's nothing about this England batting lineup that should worry Ponting. There's nothing about the England fielding that should worry Ponting. Flintoff will only bowl 20 overs in a 90 over day - that shouldn't be a major concern.
This series is a feckin long way from being done.
Totally agree Mick.
If ever there was a middle order that cried out 'knock me over with a feather' it's this one.
Trouble is your boys don't look like bowling a school u19's side out atm. (Famous last words)

Well we know what the problems is, JKL. Milf keeps it tight at one end but Midge goes for 7 an over at the other, and then Sids gets the ball after Midge has landed it anywhere but on the seam and says "Fark me, what am I expected to do with this piece of sh!t".
But do you think the idiot NSP will do anything about it?

He is on record as saying he positively enjoyed his role ... "putting up" with her was never an option for him.Bradman wrote:I admit to a soft spot for DH. Anyone who could put up with that bitch deserved a peerage.
"Sweet FA boy's, sweet FA".
There's merit in that!
Aye, perhaps a bitch to some but a positively influential inspiration to others, Bradders.

Twas my point in regards to him. The influential inspiration crap, which I think is redundant, doesn't make up for her cluelessness.

All a matter of opinion.
We would have to agree to differ here.

Pick Clark. Wickets and economy will result. No fast start for England, then inexperienced / Bell-weakened middle order exposed early. Problem solved.

I'm sure Punter thinks his bowlers might have taken a wicket in the lost 58 overs ...and his batsmen could have scored the 200 runs required

Blame SBS. If we lose, then it'll be two from two for sereis shown on SBS that we've lost.

I will be to blame when Aus lose the Ashes. My incredibly witty forum posts have got under their skins and put them off their game. Sorry, guys, but you really shouldn't keep reading them. You'd be better off getting some net practice in.
