Having read this, I'm going to say 'Pretentious, moi?'.
With regards to Stuey, he was a very amenable forummer on Channel 4, would be nice if he joined here.

I'd just like to say JC was, despite the occasional literary flights of fancy too far, a thoroughly decent bloke.
Sh*ts on the current antipodean reprsentation from a very great height indeed.

I thought so, too. And whatever critics of his literacy say, and it was florid, I always thought he was brave for putting his efforts up for public scrutiny. Nor do I recall his responding bitterly to some of the flak he copped, which was pretty fierce if memory serves!

One clue- I'm dead and have been for a long time.
Obviously I'm no longer dead- in fact I never died in the first place I mischeviously faked my own death and I'm actually immortal and a woman.

His weakness was the blind spot about Boof. Tom wrote this haiku about them:
Lehman and JC
are married in white in spring
But why pointy hoods?
...which I thought was the best post ever, on all three cricket foru.

That's pretty good, though I never encountered his good ol' boy characteristics so have no idea of its accuracy!

JC wasn't racist, he was just so totally one-eyed about Lehmann that he was found guilty by association.

Some people write to murderers in prison. Weird, but does it make them bad?

Unlikely. The Prison Officers screen all outgoing mail and phone calls for anything dodgy.

Re: Hey, anyone remember Stuey?
Hi all, very honoured to find this thread and nice to see so many of the old C4 crew here - thanks Taipan for directing me to flamingbails. I'm on paternity leave at the moment and my 4 day old son is creating havoc upstairs so not sure how regular I'll be in the first instance, but I'll do my best! I'll sort an amusing avatar and all that later on.....
