If the Aussies can bag another couple of wickets after lunch they'll be on top.
Thing is, their bowling just doesn't look dangerous, so I reckon it's England's to throw away. With our batting line up I'll be surprised if we haven't got 350+ when I wake up in a few hours..
Meantime, night all and enjoy the crickeet!

Shameful. Honours are even and it's nicely poised.

I don't think so. England would have to be happy at lunch whilst Australia would be disappointed, especially as the over-paid prima donnas need confidence to perform as much as a female porn star needs a truckload of KY jelly.

Bring back AB and Warnie.

If our fragile batting line-up has to face more than 300+ we're gonna go down quicker than a ten dollar hooker.

Yes I reckon England should he happy at lunch as well. Could have all gone wrong losing the Captain so early but they have pulled it back reasonably. If England post 400 ish Aussies are upagainst it. There is no Gilly or Hayden to rapidly overhaul big totals and they have to bat last.

agree Josh...the only bats likely to make runs are the two crabs - clarke and katich and both are painfully slow

FFS It doesn't matter if it is the right-hander or the left-hander on strike, Johnson manages to get on their legs & give them easy runs.

Think we might have to rely on the Indian forummers for some honest opinion on the state of the match....

Probably more informative than relying on them for an honest opinion of the state of the sport in general.

This ball by ball betting is fun. At lunch England were $3.00 and their now $2.55.

Hasn't Ponting got a suspended match ban hanging over him for slow over rates?

Loose from Pietersen.

That's all that's really wrong with his game at the moment - he gets 30 or 40 pretty well but can't convert. Maybe he just doesn't have the patience for Tests anymore.
