What bollocks. The first sign of you guys losing a game and there is not enough kleenex tissues in the world.
But so do you when things aren't going well for the Aussies. That's my point, dickhead.

Pietersen doesn't do anything for the team. He's England's version of Clarke. Except he wasn't born in the country he plays for.

You haven't made a cogent point all Test. Everyone's called you out on everything you've said. Get back to giving headjobs for crack.Henry wrote:But so do you when things aren't going well for the Aussies. That my point dickhead.

All I can say is, thank christ they didn't pick Bresnan for this Test.

He will if he's asked to. But he's basically retired them. Never practices his offies.
And it shows.
Could've been a handy all-rounder. But the extra workload would've eaten into his posing, preening and famewhoring time.

Aye, and to think that so many on here wouldn't have even had Jimmy in the performance squad.
He's ****** fodder in Aus conditions .... everyone knows that

Ian Bell was a better bowler than Collingwood imo before he suddenly gave up bowling for no apparent reason.

That dodgy wicket he took in Pakistan in 2005 was a massive blow to his confidence. Never been near a net since.

Jim Maxwell (who is currently commentating his 46th Ashes Test) has just compared this partnership with Horrie's Mate/Heals 12 years ago. Astutely IMO....

I believe the "no apparent reason" was a stress fracture of the back.
Still turns his arm over on occasion in county cricket. But it's gash.
Trott's a better medium pace filthsmith.

Oh, fantastic stuff from Nein. Tubby getting stuck into Slats the nob over a runout years ago. Slats coming across as a complete deadsh!t.

Record Australian 6th wicket v. England at the 'Gabba - 187, S.R.Waugh (112) & I.A.Healey (134), November 1998.
Record Australian 6th wicket (and ground record in all Tests) - 216, M.J.Clarke (141) & A.C.Gilchrist (126) v. NZ, November 2004.
Bit of a way to go to beat the Australian (and former Test) record 6th wicket stand v. Eng - 346 by J.H.Fingleton (136) & D.G.Bradman (270) at the MCG, January 1937 but I wouldn't put even that record past this pair the way they are batting at the moment.

England blaming the ball now. Desperate stuff.

If it wasn't for bad luck, Jimmy would have no luck today.
Re: Australia v England, 1st Test, Brisbane, Nov 25-29, 2010 (II)
Bowlers never complain about the shape of the ball if they're taking wickets even if it is out of shape. Something about a bad workman and his tools springs to mind.

What are you doing, Strauss? You've taken off Swann and left Collingwood on?
I thought for sure he was just switching ends.
This is moronic. What's the longest spell Swann's had in this game? Seven, eight overs?
What is he, a seamer now?

Could be worse, they could be blaming the umpires, or the technology, or the referral system. But only a douche would do all that.

Just about the perfect session for Aus and way beyond my nervous expectations. What a patnership. Withstood some brilliant bowling in the first hour, wore them down and cashed in in the 60 minutes to Lunch.
Remarkable knock by Hussey and just about the best knock I've seen Haddin play.

1 run short of equalling Dubber & Heals' effort of 187 for 6th wicket here 12 years although Oz batted first then. Dubber & Heals took score from 178-5 to 365-6 with Oz 485 all out. Looks very similar here. England are being batted out of the game. Expect to see a collapse tomorrow.

Nice work from Hussey and Haddin. The match is telecast too early here for my liking but watching that partnership really brightened my morning. Hope they pile it on after lunch.
