Cook 4 , Bopara 1 , Bell 1 , Onions 0 & 0/54
Proof that the Australian Test team isn't up to County Cricket standard?

Proof that apart from Strauss and Prior, our entire top 6 is out of form.

Good job that county form bears no relation to England form.
Else they'd have to pick Ramps FFS.

I know. They'd have to leave out one of two players who have scored 169 runs in 10 innings between them

What's Bell's average in tests since his 199 v South Africa last year?

Sorry, I think you've confused me with Brian Murgatroyd.

Honestly can't understand how anyone thought and still thinks that Bell is capable of making 100 against Australia.

I don't think they do vilks. It's the height of jocularity to say it.

It was 21 before Headingley, so it must be about 18-19 now. I'll have a look seeing as I hate him so much.
Edit: 19.85 (8 matches, 2 50s, 7 x 4s - less than one an innings).

Absolute rubbish. He was never made to work hard enough to get back into the side anyway. It was basically a case of him hitting one century at Taunton and he was back in the frame. Soft as.
Make him work his little ginger tits off. Don't select him for England, pick him for the Lions tour, but make him carry the drinks for a few games. Sit him down and tell him a few home truths, like the fact that he's completely soft and needs to toughen the f*ck up. He's been mollycoddled his entire career since he was about 14.
Shit.

Fark me sideways. That really is atrocious. I mean I always said he was a balless little tw@t, but didn't realise he'd been that balless.
See that JKL, read those stats.

I'm sure you'll all be delighted to know that Bell is playing himself into form with a brilliant innings at Trent Bridge; off the mark with an incredible chinese cut off a yorker that just missed the stumps, proceeding to score a load of boundaries down to third man from his favourite stroke, the deliberate edge. He has even teased the Nottinghamshire bowlers with a couple of close LBWs and an edge that fell inches short of 2nd slip. The Bell is back, the Bell is in form.

He is so ridiculously overdue for a big score, it's got to be just around the corner.Brass Monkey wrote:vilkrang wrote:Honestly can't understand how anyone thought and still thinks that Bell is capable of making 100 against Australia.

If I had played against Australia 12 times and never got a big score, would I be overdue for one? No, because I'm shit.Zat wrote:He is so ridiculously overdue for a big score, it's got to be just around the corner.Brass Monkey wrote:vilkrang wrote:Honestly can't understand how anyone thought and still thinks that Bell is capable of making 100 against Australia.
