I see Kent have expressed an interest...as much as I like to see London take over the world, does that world really have to include Kent?
I do love the idea of the Olympic stadium hosting county cricket though but only if they keep the 80k capacity. It would be a surrealist masterpiece seeing one man, his dog and 79,998 empty seats watching a county championship match.

Which is closer to the stadium - Chelmsford or Canterbury?

Chelmsford I would think. Certainly closer to Essex.
The Chavdome. I like it.

The Chavdome - sounds like a Mad Max sequel that never quite made it past the pitch.
"Set in a post-apocalyptic Britain (we can film on location without having to alter any of the landscape), Max is trying to track down the whereabouts of the last known pasty in existence. Michael Bay to direct."
