Aye. DVD is like that.
Has the thread changed to just released films you've just watched?
Must confess I saw Metropolis not long ago. Not in the 1920s though.

But have just watched again "The Camomile Lawn" (most of it - at 4 hours plus of a five-episode TV series, it's too long for one sitting) .
I used to watch that as a kid to get my rocks off. You had to work hard for your expunging of semen in those days.......

Really? I'd ov thought you'd ov needed little encouragement!
True, Jennifer Eely was quite a little tease with her comforts, and pneumatic too. But she seems only a colourful patch in Wild Mary's rich tapestry of life, all the same.

Okay, so let's call this thread "New films out - what have you seen? Any good?"
Anyone seen Man of Steel yet? Any good?

My friend saw it, she said it was good but there was too much fighting for her particular taste.
Re: Films you've watched recently.
Russell Crowe is in it.

Is Man Of Steel about David Steele? I hope it is. Here is a fascinating fact about David Steele. This test superstar played 500 first class matches, scored 30 centuries & yet his highest score was only 140*. Interesting, hey!

He bored himself to tears after that many runs.

Weekend. Mud. Stories We Tell.
First two in particular are great, particularly loved Mud. Third is a documentary, not really sure about it.

Finally got to see 'The Railway Man' yesterday. Good film but the central characters could have been made up to look their real ages. Firths character would have been in his late sixties when the film was set but he looked more like late forties. Still worth a look though.
Re: Films you've watched recently.
Went to see 'Perfect Strangers' today and thought it was very entertaining - the script is clever and the acting is good.

La Vache or One Man and his Cow. A complete hoot! In essence a road movie about an Algerian farmer walking his cow from Marseilles to Paris to enter the Paris Agricultural show. Very funny film with lots of entertaining characters and situations.

Films not made in Australia.
Or more specifically, not having an Australian pretending to be an American.
Re: Films you've watched recently.
Speaking of quirky non Australian films it looks like Daniel Craig is coming back for another 007.

Watched Gods of Egypt last night which wasn't a sucky as I thought it was going to be but elevated to realms of a classic due to the performance of the delightful Courtney Eaton.
