Re: Great song
Believe it or not he's almost required listening for Aboriginals. I couldn't believe it when they took my Cold Chisel tape out of the tape deck in the car and started singing along to "Living Next Door To Allen".

Re: Great song
Surely taking a Cold Chisel tape out of tape deck is compuslory behaviour.
If not, it should be.

You...you... you're un-Australian. That's the greatest pub rock band in the history of the world.
Mind you Kevin was preferable to the Slim Dusty trash they normally made me listen to.

A bit like going to TI and having to recite My Island Home before you are allowed off the ferry.

Hehehehe. But she is cute. About the only thing I could stand was Yothu Yindi and that's despite the lead singer almost driving me to a nervous breakdown.
I thought TI had an airstrip?

Nup, it is too small and pointy. The only place anywhere near flat enough is full of dead people. Fly to Horn Is and catch a 50 year old ferry over.
And, aye she is do-able. But as you would say, I am coming off a low rung.

I'm sure I flew there from Daru years ago. I remember boats, a twin otter and a helicopter. Twas a qunt of a trip. Especially as I had to spend six hours in Daru the day after the only pub burnt down, oddly enough the same day it went into receivership.

Sad but true. My son fould an old Walkman the other day and just couldn't grasp the concept that that was how music was played.
Putting a CD player into a troopie that does about 60,000k a year on unsealed roads is not wise.
