India v Pakistan, ICCCT, Centurion, Sep 26
First official game against arch rivals in over 15 months, bit of a rarity considering madness of last 4-5 years.
Bring it on.
Bring it on.

Huge blow for India, no Sehwag, no Yuvraj.
Both just love Pak bowling with Yuvraj especially playing some crucial innings against Pak.

Afridi's gems just like Pak's regular skipper YK OTT comments,
Pak's current team is better than what it fielded during WC'03
What utter BS!!!! This Pak team is nowhere near that team in terms of class, talent or whatever!!!
India has been lucky in the past to defeat them in so many WC games
Again not a wise thing to say especially when you're the captain of a national team. You can be lucky once or may be even twice, but not this many times. Besides, you make your own luck.
Pak team will give 110% in the game against India
How he or YK can quantify such things to such precision is beyond me!!!

Yep, even though Pathan probably lost us that game, IMO we didn't put enough on board that day.

So funny to see every Tom, Dick and Harry coming out of Pak closet and declaring that this is THE match for them.
First YK, Afridi, Rana, and even newbies like Aamer, Umar.................. the list is endless. And I haven't yet talked about their administrators and former players.
No wonder I said for most Pak citizens, India is be all and end all of the world, something which was frowned upon by Mr Inferiority Complex.

And hang on, when will you ever get your facts right?
I'm no way connected with any cricket establishment. My comments on an obscure cricket forum carry absolutely no weight whatsoever. I'm an ordinary fan. Show me one Indian player comment, that beating Pak is this and that.
For your players though, its be all and end all with India. And its proved yet again.

big deal is that you are calling out other people for being overly obsessed with this game yet you have more than half the posts(your usual shit stirring posts) in this threads.

Do you even know the difference between ordinary fans like me and the ones who matter, in this case the players themselves?
Forget it. You don't even have enough understanding of basic English.

What team should we play?
I feel instead of playing 1 useless trundler, we'd be better off playing 2 spinners. And Mishra would be pretty unknown commodity (so would be Nayar) for Pak. My team would be,
Tendulkar
Gambhir
Dravid
Dhoni (Got to take Yuvraj's position and probably his aggressive instincts)
Raina
Kohli
Nayar
Bhajji
Ishant
Mishra
Nehra/RP

Ind seamers have been gash at the ODIs recently. I'd pick 2 front-line seamers and 2 front-line spinners. Nayar as 3rd medium pace option and Raina/Sachin as back up spinning options.
Yuvi is a big loss in both batting & bowling.
Sachin
Gambhir
Raina
Dravid
Kohli
*+ Dhoni
Nayar
Harbi
Mishra
Ishant
Nehra

What has happened to Ishant Sharma? The guy seemed destined for greatness a few years back. That lethal spell against Ponting was something to treasure forever.
In recent times, (along with this current match) he seems much quiet(er). He isn't raising the roof as much at present. Is he close to burn-out? Has the IPL totally wrecked his line and length?
In the words of Craig David, 'Can you fill me in?'.

I'd like to say that the last 20 overs or sohave been the height of gash from India.

awful inconsistent stuff from india, harbhajan continues his poor form against pak. credit to shoaib malik and moyo (both have great records against india), they rode out the storm and cashed in later. perfectly paced innings from pakistan, must be favourites now.
poor captaincy from dhoni, letting them consolidate. should've gone for another wicket. it was obvious what their gameplan was. ishant was our best bowler (with nehra) and only bowled 8 overs? wtf
