I see a bit of Pakistan in England....
In the T20 WC this year they were suppose to be one of the weaker sides which was proven by their defeat to Holland but then they HAMMERED the eventual champs Pakistan and knocked the defending champs India out of the competition....before losing again.
similarly before the Ashes they were a rubbish test team with hardly ANY decent results over a period of 2-3 years but then they SHOCK a lot of people by winning the Ashes....
Now in the CT they have knocked the favorites out and are the FIRST side to make it to the semis
GO FIGURE..

oh and in the middle of it all they lost 6 ODIs in a row and people thought they had NO IDEA on how to play ODI cricket.

England are the most reliably unreliable team in the world. I suspect they always will be. Makes it interesting though.

Bit out of context. He was simply saying he was in the side purely for runs - no other strings to his bow. Which is essentially correct.
