In an injury crisis, call for Traction Man...

Davies is as good a line and length nagger as there is in England. But you'd worry about him on a flattie. Not quick. Not bouncy.

But a great record. Aside from the comically bad fitness record.

Precisely the sort of player the England management would pick as injury cover, then. Looks as if the Saffie batsmen are going to fill their boots in this series.

Andersons crocked?

Davies has one of those records you look at and think WTF? 22 in FC cricket. No more than Hoggard pace, but that didn't hinder him really.

If LLL was a regular poster these days he'd have been spaffing over Davies' selection as 'his pick'
