Have another daft feline now - a 2 yo Heinz 57 variety who happens to be scared of his own shadow - creep up on him and he leaps up a yard before giving you the "I knew you were there - but piss off nevertheless" look !

I was thinking when I bumped this thread that most if not all of the old cats discussed during its previous incarnation would have snuffed it, hopefully after 9 happy lives in all cases ... admit to being slightly envious of those who can keep a pet safely. Mine have all been gone nearly 10 years now.
