When I was a kid my uncle's GP was Dr Dyer. He and Sister Slaughter, who worked at a nearby hospital, would have made a most reassuring pair of medics...

Or the apocryphal Michael Hunt?
I worked with a Mike Hunt, who always insisted on being called Michael, which, of course, we refused.
On my first day as receptionist, I was asked to page Mike Hunt about ten times.

That must be a joke, surely:

"Kunt Elektronik founded its ‘new’ export company ‘KUNTES’..."

Everyone who works there must spend most of their day sniggering quietly to themselves.

My husband used to work with someone called Richard Ayres. A receptionist asked my hubsand why Richard was called 'pubic' by everyone. He replied "Think about it, what's the shortened version of Richard?", she replied "Rick" and looked even more puzzled....

The press probably loves quoting them: "Kunt bigwig Mr X..." or "Kunt middle manager Mr Y..."

Even better if they get into trouble: "Head of police to probe Kunt" and "Kunt fingered by cops"

There was a German footballer called Steffan Kuntz who actually scored against England in the 1996 European Championship semi-finals.

Of course, the commentators were giving it the "Koonze", but we could all read the name on the back of his shirt. Kuntz, the lot of them.

best bit of commentary ever by John Motson in the Euro96 SF...

'...and the Germans are breaking down the left....... Kuntz'

Or something like that Laughing

Maybe it was....

'1-1... Germany have Equalised...... Kuntz!'

The irony was that Andreas Moller and Oliver Bierhoff were the biggest Kuntz of all of them.

I wonder if he ever met the Italian basketballer Gregor Fu cka. (I had to add a space because of the modding filter.)

He also features in this list of the 'dirtiest names in sport'.

But not in this one...
