West Indies v Zimbabwe, 2nd ODI, Providence, Mar 6
Surely it couldn't happen again...?

Will Invader Zim be present at the match?

So is it good or bad if Zimbabwe start winning cricket matches? I'm confused.

Zim won the toss and will bat. Ramdin is not playing so Fletcher will keep wicket.

Fletcher gives away a bye after ball one.
Roach gets his man Sibanda. Runs him out.
This really is comedy cricket.

Didn't realise this was on. I'm off to watch this shabby cricket between two shabby teams. It's like the cricket equivalent of Gravesend v Dagenham.

Don't know what HaMas was thinking with that aerial cut shot. Not really a shot you have that much control over, and with third man in place it's only going to end one way.
Taylor should not have been given out; hit outside the line.

The umpiring today has been abysmal. Taylor and Barath have been given out lbw when clearly outside the line whilst Lamb was hit on the half volley in front of middle and off but declared not out.
What is worrying is that Taufel has been poor as well as Duncan who you expect errors from.

Barath's decision was appalling as well, I agree. In real time it didn't even look close.
Sometimes I genuinely think I could do a better job.

Yep I think you would do a better job too
Somebody put me out of my misery. 30 overs of part time spin to go.

I'm sure I could, most of the time.
There would be games where I just wouldn't take it seriously though - just call wides and no balls to see the look on the bowlers faces. I think some of the current umpires also do this though.

Haven't been able to watch the WI innings after the lunch break (WTF is that crap anyway??? Mid innings break?) but it seems like another clueless performance in the batting department, although it's hard to see how they can lose from here (15 off 24).

Umpire Duncan does look as if he's umpiring a fete match at times. I swear he believes that more often than not a batsman deserves to be given out if he lets a spin bowler hit his pads.
Anyway we scraped a win against Zimbabwe to make it 1-1.
Now for the last 3 ODI's Sarwan and Bravo should be back and it would be nice if we got a decent pitch to play on and took first strike for once.

Zimbabwe's leg spinner Cremer looks extremely promising. Let's hope the team can stay together so that he can continue to progress.
