Budget 2010
now I know there are plenty of interesting issues here...but what worries me (and hobos/tramps/students/derros everywhere, is the mega unfair 10% increase on cider. Why is there not an increase on 'orrible sugary alcopops or special brew?
chuh.
Oh yeah, and the petrol increase is being staggered. Thanks, Darling.

and then there's lemon, strawberry, toffee apple, raspberry and apple...
I think the increase will be on slightly sparkling perry as well Smerky. Bad news all round.

St Helliers cider and Brothers is very good. Lemon/Pear Brothers cider is more related to your average Bacardi Breezer, but it still tastes mighty refreshing after a hard day at the office.

I tried the lemon one out of curiosity, but I don't think I'd have it over apple again. Oh, then you've got your Jacques fruity types. They're acceptable.

Re: Budget 2010
10% increase on a bottle of white lightning/diamond white or equivalent still makes it easily affordable to the most destitute tramp or the most unemployable dirty chav.
Surprised cigarettes haven't gone up more to be honest. I was expecting a huge kick to the groin there.

Assuming that the election is on 6 May, Parliament will need to be dissolved withinthe next two weeks - with the Easter recess as well, much of this budget won't make it to the statute book.

I can't call anyone Darling in my accent and make it sound meaningful. Not that it would be my choice of term of affection. And I wouldn't be getting anyone preggers either, obv.
