Re: How will Vikas celebrate his 100th Birthday?
I know most people would take the dildo instead of a dwindling Flaming Bails forum.

Re: How will Vikas celebrate his 100th Birthday?
Does a forum have to colonise cyberspace to be worthwhile?

Re: How will Vikas celebrate his 100th Birthday?
Rob I was the king of the sooks.
vilks stormed off on his own volition within hours of Jay creating the 'elders' group, and as far as I know didn't actually have anything done to his posts, just decided that his fellow forumers weren't to be trusted and so stormed off.
Vikas took the forum way too seriously for way too long, and snapped some synapses.
I look forward to the social pages of the newspapers covering the wedding of 'Indian comdian Vikas to reformed neo-nazi xenophobe Rob I' in the future.

Re: How will Vikas celebrate his 100th Birthday?
both vilks and vikas' posts were edited. but thats not the issue.
the gang mentality against certain posters is what creates the tension in the first place. this place feels like a hangout for the aussie mafia (and taipan) with the rest of the forummers who dont meet approval either being hounded out through constant and targetted ridicule/wind ups or being forced to put up with it. this thread being a case in point.

That's piss funny.
Yep, just checked the member list. Looks like Rob has spat the dummy,
But fair does, I haven't seen a sooky flounce thread.
Was it just you calling him the sookiest of sooks that did it?

It's a forum, words on a screen.
Act like a dickhead and expect it to be pointed out to you.
Repeatedly act like a dickhead and get what you deserve.
You don't have to 'conform' but if you dish it, be prepared to take it.

but all that has been true of robi since C4 days. It seemed strange that a few relatively tame slurs should cause him to sulk off now.

Maybe he got tired of posting as both Batman and himself and decided to quit as Batman, and retire as Rob I.

hmmn...not convinced by the Oz mafia (and taips) line argument Ash...generally our best brawling is reserved for other Oz posters...eg skully v gabbadan...tac v any visitors to his mum's basement...even mild mannered me has had the odd spat ....and very few of us read taips' stuff...
so RobI, Vilks and Vikas have fled...i spose that is some kind of news...people take it all too seriously

I can't check Rob's IP now as he's deregistered. It'll have to stand as an unproven theory.

Nah, Rob was just Rob.
Probably still is.
Just somewhere else.

Re: How will Vikas celebrate his 100th Birthday?
I trotted this out on that legendary night on C4 when Marto threw teddy out of the pram after Adelaide Ashes 06-07, and maybe one other time since: the Harvard Business School approved, absolutely 100% accurate measurement of how much any individual will be missed once they leave a group or organisation:
Fill a bathroom sink with water. Stick your head in. Pull it ouit again. The size of the hole in the water left behind is directly proportional to your irreplacability. Rob, especially, may be shocked at how well this place hums on without him.
Horrie is dead right. If the real Mafia was as united and solid asd committed to each other as Ash's 'Aussie forum mafia' then New York City would be ankle deep in blood and horse's mugs.
