This is for Smerky in particular as I know he will be at the Glamorgan 4 day match. Two leg spinners to enjoy (Odean Brown, Imran Khan).

I'm very much looking forward to this as I will be watching at least one of the tour games. I expect Bravo, Edwards and Braithwaite to score heaps of runs (a long with Devon Smith who always dominates A tours, particularly English ones, before shitting himself at the highest level).

The squad:

Devon Smith (Captain), David Bernard (Vice Captain), Omar Phillips, Lionel Baker, Kraigg Brathwaite, Darren Bravo, Odean Brown, Kirk Edwards, Andre Fletcher (wk), Justin Guillen, Imran Khan, Nelon Pascal, Gavin Tonge, Chadwick Walton (wk)

Note: Kieron Pollard and Nikita Miller will replace Justin Guillen and Odean Brown for the one-day section of the tour.

Btw that squad would tend to suggest that Shillingford and Dowlin are about to get a Test call up.

Dowlin as a reserve opener/middle order batsman, Shillingford as the off spinner.

It's a good time for a fixture (early June, on the weekend) should be interesting.

If the weather is set fair for that weekend then it might be an interesting contest given Glamorgan's recent run of form. Also, a West Indies team might generate a touch more interest than your run-of-the-mill county side. Pity cricket is barely advertised here, unless it's the Twenty20 stuff.

Theme nights, FFS!

The thought of a Caribbean themed night in Cardiff makes me cringe lol! Rasta hats anyone?

Haha, more like Beatles night, 70s and beach party.

What is this, I don't even....

Thank god for the four/three day cricket. Sanity still prevails.

I noticed today that Kieron Pollard hasn't played a first class game for over a year. A worrying sign of the times.

Especially considering he has a good FC record and can bat properly when he wants to, he's just playing far too much T20 cricket.. I think he will be playing with Somerset whilst the 4 day matches are taking place hence why he wasn't selected.

Planet Pakistan will have vapours at the thought of a leg-spinner called Imran Khan.

A hard hitting all rounder named Imran Khan? Laughing. I seriously hope it happens so I can hear Rameez Raja trying to explain the virtues of the West Indian Imran Khan and his slow, loopy leggies!

Warner is going to have to move interstate if he wants to play more first class cricket.

Nice Basil! Any scouting report would be greatly appreciated as it now looks like the only game I can definitely watch is the 4 day game at Grace Road.
