Steve Waugh? Would he make any test side?
Just wondering what people think. Still into reading his Autobiography, which is getting good now.
I think he would make anyside.
Plus, would he be good enough to get into the Aussie All time XI?

Are you reading "Out of my comfort zone"?
I am darn sure that he will still be able to play a good game. If they allow Graeme Smith to play, then Steve should be a shoe-in.

Waugh wouldn't make it into an Alltime Aussie XI . . . he's behind Bradman, Ponting, G Chappell, Border as well as a few more.

Suck it up horrie. SRW's record (no. of Tests, average, captaincy record) is irrefutable. And he's a Spiv. Huzzah.

spit it out skullywag
1 he did not deserve to play in a significant percentage of the tests he played
2. the argument about average is laughable...playing down the order, refusing to personally chase quick runs (ie getting others to do the risky work) and shamelessly farming the strike to the tail inc macgrath in pursuit of redinkus maximus
3 jemima puddleduck (or RD) could have captained those champs to a great record

What has Steve Waugh done to all the Wozzie Forummers? Apart from doing a service for them.

"What has Steve Waugh done to all the Wozzie Forummers? Apart from doing a service for them."
Actually the Noisiest Wozzie Of Them All was always unstinting in his support for SW.
(Which I suppose shows nothing except that even a blind squirrel will sometimes find an acorn, even if just by falling over it....)
