Is anyone actually interested in the NBA on this forum?

That's all I've been hearing on other American related boards.

What is going on?

I'm a Michael Jordan fan if that counts.

lbj is most likely going to Miami who ALSO will have Bosh and Wade making them BY far the most talented side in the NBA.

I have very little knowledge of the NBA. The massive franchise behemoth that it highlights on the website is quite off putting.


Pity it's like that with all American sports.


Anyway, who do you support, PP, and who is worth supporting? (This is me in Horrie mode - basically searching for a team outside of my field of knowledge).

I have been since I was in LA, they won the 6th and 7th games of the finals, was an amazing atmosphere. I'm now a Lakers fan.

I've decided to go for Milwaukee Bucks.


Don't ask me why, but it was a toss up between the Bucks, and the Minnesota Timberwolves.

I know nothing, so it's a stab in the dark effort. I haven't even checked the rankings.

I'll probably be labelled a glory supporter but f*ck them, I was in LA the night they won their last championship so I have as good a reason as any to support them.

Yeah sounds wicked to be fair.

I'd be the same with any sport to be honest. Being a neutral is awesome sometimes.

Yeah. Apparently when 7 foot 280lbers fall onto a hard timber ground having jumped up for a ball, it can cause injury. Shame actually because he was having an outstanding year (I think he ended up making the All-NBA 3rd team anyway) and the Bucks would almost certainly have gone deeper into the finals if he was there.

The Toronto Raptors are the Glamorgan Dragons equivalent

Very much "no", Smerkle. Tedious end to end predictable pap (IMHO). They shoot, they score, then it rushes down the other end, they shoot, they score. Repeat ad infinitum. Someone sinks a 3 point bomb or someone misses, and there you have the difference in the end scores.

I have been a fan of the Lakers since 00.

Even though i live in Orlando and the team here(Orlando Magic) is quite good but never really been a big fan of them. The main player in the team(Dwight Howard) is a center and centers don't play with the same flair as PGs plus this Dwight guy isn't that talented either he is just BIG and strong.

Massive choke just now by the Spurs. Should have won the title but missed 2 free throws late.

Heat will now dominate game 7.

I preferred the days when Lebron James was a hated choker.

He choked a bit late today but got bailed out by Ray Allen.
