Windies T20 Slogathon

Our domestic T20 tournament starts tomorrow and it's live on ESPN in the UK for those of us who have that channel. Canada are the guest team which could be amusing as I get the impression they are pretty damn awful.

We have a strange mix of some of the best T20 players in the world like Chris Gayle, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, Dwayne Smith, Kemar Roach and completely substandard players of which there are too many to name.

Matches between T & T, Jamaica and Barbados are likely to be as good as any around the world in terms of quality and entertainment in this format but the others could be either of a terrible standard or completely one-sided.

Of course, as usual I'm backing T & T, who start the tournament tomorrow evening at 8pm BST against Canada. Luckily it's being played on decent pitches in Barbados and not the horrible slow/low affairs we get in other parts of the region.
