Deaf, dumb and blind ...
qunts
Lack of an ICC backbone yet again apparent!
Flower : "I would have let it go if the ICC, or the match referee, or the umpires, had acknowledged what we'd been told, that the third umpire had not turned the volume up sufficiently, but they didn't," Flower said. "They actually changed their story and that angered me so we made an official complaint as that was absurd."

If it looks like a cover up and smells like a cover up.....
Not that it made much difference that was one of the worst performances we've put in as a side in the last 3/4 years

Agree.
However, bagging Sniff cheaply at that time before he went on to score another 100, might just have made the difference - both statistically and psychologically.
History now - though it is interesting that the ICC stopped short of imposing a hefty fine on the ECB.

Still interesting though how in the corresponding test in oz, there was a similar situation where a noise identical to the Sooky decision was heard with a similar lack of deflection and hot spot indicated that the ball didn't hit the bat. Harper was inefficient as usual but there's not irrefutable evidence that the poms were wronged!

That's not the point though is it, Red? What Flower's complaining about is that it the officials are lying qunts, not whether Smiffy was out or not.
