Yet strangely disrespectful of the favourite sport of the great state of Queensland.

I try not to judge people by what they enjoy in the privacy of their own living rooms/sports stadiums.

I would expect a pinko to have difficulty with such open-mindedness

Yet strangely disrespectful of the favourite sport of the great state of Queensland.

No question that it's the #1 winter game, particularly in the bush. I was in a pub up north on Monday night. The place was fullish, the leeeeg was on, Titans v Chooks. Man, didn't the they go off as the Titans hit their straps. I even heard a QUEENSLANDAAAAR!!!

Again, completely misappreciating one of the main essences of being a Queenslander, being able to celebrate as one heart and one mind the might of their rugby league football teams.

Face it, the only reason the Torries will get a vote in the great state of Queensland is because you take advantage of the fundamental simplemindedness of the average Billy by pedalling lies.

Update on marginals:

Hasluck and Brisbane have Liberal leads of less than 500 with about 80-85% of votes in.

Corangamite has ALP lead of less than 600 with 85% of votes in.

Drank a lot of beer. Someone caught a lot of fish and I ate a lot of fish. We even skipped the wiegh-in and stayed out another night.

Let's face it after Saturday night there wasn't a lot to go back to.

From the National Press Club Lunch:

On a Carbon Price

For: Bandt, Windsor, Oakshotte
Against: Katter

On a Mining Tax:

For: Bandt, Windsor, Oakshotte
Against: Katter

I'd say Wilkie would be in the "For" on both as well.

My wife comes from a culture where monogamy is still practiced. I mentioned it being a good idea once and she started unlocking the gun cabinet.

Beer, fishing and women don't mix. Well not when you've kissed fifty good-bye. Anyway there was only six berths.

He'll come around (or at least shut his mouth) after some concessions in other areas. Heard an analysis by the deputy head of the NFF, who said with mining encroaching more and more, or rather affecting more and more, the agricultural industries, a lot of farmers feel more comfortable with the Greens on most (and that's the rub) issues. Said their fight against mining companies farking around with agricultural land had seen them work closely with the greenies and, "There not such bad folk after all".

Have you ever met a northern hemisphere backpacker? Gorgeous girls but transplant their hygiene habits into an Australian climate. You wouldn't need to be on a fishing boat to experience the same olfactory event as you would sitting in a bar with them.
