Post by G.Wood Wed Sep 01, 2010 7:50 pm

odds out today

Aus $1.80
Eng $4.00
Draw - I didn't hear, usually around $3.5

There's money to be made, the difference in price is ridiculous

Nothing unusual in those odds for a side that has a 9-1 losing record in its last 10 tests down under...

Aye, we couldn't even beat a team that was trying to lose

We'll struggle to take 20 wickets particularly now that Cooky is back in from and I can't see anyway that we will be able to dismiss Trott

What JKL said. How many tests have Australia lost at home in the last 3 years?

Ken oath, Pete. Without Warnie and McGrath to grind out the opposition we need bounce to unsettle the Poms with their familiarity with lowish and slower wickets in Blighty.

Still going to be a tough series for England.

Swanny might make the difference.

Aussies who think that England stand a chance are just f**king dumb quite frankly. Australia still have a better batting line up than England and in non swinging conditions I'd say their bowling attack is also better. The only advantages England have are with their spinner and a long batting line up, but our top order is the most unreliable of the top 5 test teams at the moment and won't get us enough runs even with our tail wagging.

So by axing the top 5 & filling up the team with specialist fielders would make it stronger.

$4.80 might be a good bet now with the hope of laying off if they get good early form. Let's face it our prep has not been great, Ricky's still captain and the bookies probably won't be able to save his arse this time.

http://www.tech-faq.com/proxy.html

Proxy Sites

A Proxy site is a web page which allows you to browse your favorite web sites -- even though your access to those web sites might be blocked by a content filter.

If you find that you are blocked from your favourite websites, use one of these web proxy sites to get around the block.

How Proxy Sites Work

Proxy sites enable you to bypass your own Internet provider and browse through the proxy web site. All that you have to do is type the web site address you would like to visit in the form they provide, and start browsing. Once you keep browsing using that form, you are protected and your real IP address is not being logged.
