http://thebeachedshark.blogspot.com/2010/09/open-letter-to-mr-suresh-kalmadi-and.html
Open Letter to Mr. Suresh Kalmadi and whoever else in the CWG committee that knows to read..
Dear Sirs,
So the CW Games are turning out to be a bit of a ****** up on your part. Big Deal. It's not like the rest of the world goes cuckoo and lays out the red carpet when we visit them.
Never thought about it that way, did you? Well, here's your opportunity to hit back. Think about it, when was the last time any of the below points happened? THINK!!!
1. How many hotels and houses in the western keep a bucket & mug or a douche in anticipation of the hordes of desis who visit their toilets during their travels?
2. How many stadiums and sporting arenas make allowances for athletes who have tested positive for banned substances the way we do out here?
3. How many countries provide public transportation where staff members are trained in our languages, the way the Delhi Metro chaps have been trained in English for the consideration of them westerners?
4. How many countries would have given about 100 of our citizens (At a minimum), the opportunity of a lifetime to rake in the moolah at the expense of their government?
5. How many of these participating countries can actually make a decent roti & dal, the way we can make their pastas and ****** fish fingers?
6. How many of their people would try to flirt with our lot the way our lot lust after theirs?
7. How many of these countries would still want to hold the games despite knowing that as the host country, they won't win a medal at any of the 'real' athletic events?
8. And, most importantly, how many of these countries would give visas at the drop of a hat to our citizens the way we have, theirs?
I have come to the conclusion that thusly, the Commonwealth Countries, the Commonwealth Federation and just about everybody else can ****** right off. You have my support, dear Mr. Kalmadi and other associated jokers. Long may your c*ck ups continue.
Dear Commonwealth Federation
Don't you ****** dare call my country's attempts at hosting some sporting sh!t that doesn't even involve football, a national disgrace.
You ****** are coming here for the below four reasons alone so let's not kid ourselves now, shall we?:
a) To see elephants.
b) To see 'holy men'
c) To eat 'curry' and
d) To see cows on the road.
Well then, to do all that you don't need:
1) A ****** stadium - So whether the roof collapses or worms crawl out of the surface and into your butthole is irrelevant.
2) Housing complexes / games villages - So whether it has dog poo or human poo inside is irrelevant
3) Traffic free roads - As a matter of fact, the more traffic there is on the roads the better your chances of seeing the cow on the road (and I'm not necessarily talking about Your Mama here, dear New Zealanders & Canadian whiners)
4) Monsoon Rains - Can't help it if your pampered little prima donnas can't decide on whether their precious allergic-to-rainwater toes might get too wet for them to handle
Of course, I just can't defend the politicians. Those cocksuckers need to be shot en masse. It's a pity Israel or Palestine isn't participating - we coulda made them quote random pro Jewish quotes to the Iranians and Pro-Palestine quotes to the Israelis. After that, we coulda watched on national television while Mossad sent their world famous hit squad.
And if they managed to locate and finish those weasels, I'd have personally given one cow, one sanyasi, one plate of original 'curry' and a book on spiritual healing to each of those brave assassins.
But that's neither here nor there. I am proud of my nation for getting this far despite being riddled with self-made problems day in and day out.
You lot on the other hand, can get back on your shiny little jets, with your fancy cars and oodles of criticism, and ****** right off.
Let us continue to live in our heady bliss of poverty, inefficiency and incompetence. We'll manage just fine without your negativity and show pony sh!t.
Best Regards
Monty

I guess then we can expect that part of the Punjabi wedding where the friends of the 'boy' get stinking drunk and try to beat the $hit out of the father in law (take your pick of Indian politician)?

Coates said on tonight's news that India should never have been granted the games. Several letters from people in today's papers who have travelled to India and also voiced their concerns about it running the games given what they encountered. Obviously due diligence wasn't done.

FFS! It's an event organised by Indians and overseen by Kiwis. Plus Coates is putting in his own two bob's worth.

Coates is an arrogant qunt. I bet his bagging of the Indians' effort in New Delhi has made plenty of headlines in Bannietown.

I was amused by one of the Indian ministers talking on 'The Offsiders' in response to some of the appalling conditions in the village. She opined that "these Western countries have different standards of hygiene."

But it was a she who was quoting it on the program. Sounded quite amazing.
