And we'll all float on alright
Monday, October 22, 2007
The people of Times Square might think they've seen it all, but even jaded New Yorkers couldn't believe their eyes when Dutch magician Ramana came to town.
Levitation
The illusionist, real name Wouter Bijdendijk, amazed onlookers with his levitation act on Saturday, hovering several feet above the pavement with apparent ease.
New Yorkers, who haven't seen a chubby man levitating whilst staring enigmatically into the middle distance since David Blaine was at the height of his powers, were stunned by the floaty weirdo.
A household name in his native Netherlands, Ramana has performed for Queen Beatrix and has even been honoured in India with the Golden Cloth award, the highest cultural honour ever given to a westerner.
As well as levitation, Ramana's repertoire includes 'flying' up to 10 metres above ground, mind reading and other forms of Indian street trickery.

Ok, so how does he do it? Obviously that bamboo stick plays a part.

it's more to do with focussing the mind, the stick is there just to interrupt a free fall in case he is distracted.

Is it bollocks. It's a trick, same as any other.

So? It's still just a trick. Be a pretty bloody useless one if we could all tell how he'd done it.
Do you believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden as well?

I thought it was Matthew Mcconaughey doing the trick when I first saw the pic.

When you walk, do you trick anyone ? Levitation is based on sound principles. Otherwise there would have been no levitation.
>>Do you believe in fairies at the bottom of the garden as well?
No.
but even if they were there, I wouldn't disturb them.

I'm going to buy one of those vaguely yellow dishcloths at the supermarket, present it with all due ceremony to Mrs L as 'the Golden Cloth award', then run.

There is no such award, it is just a vague english translation of the word 'pudavai' which is a silk cloth with Golden border (jerry) usually given to great Indian classical musicians or as a token to people who profess expertise in any traditional Indian art.

Old Indian epics like Ramayana have quoted instances where Ravana, the King of Demons, used to travel in a Vimana (flying device). There are extensive quotes on it and its structure. The founder of the Maya civilization, the King Maya Danava was a great technical mind and was a great expert in these flying devices. For the Gods these devices were devised by the divine architect Vishwakarma. All these devices were based on the same principles as used in levitation. So all this has been known for a long time and is nothing new.

Principles behind both are same.
Do not compare that with modern day internal combustion engine, that mindset is wrong, because engines are just a slave technology. Engines are used by NWO to keep mankind enslaved to oil.
What drives levitation could be the same energy that drives the earth around the sun. Earth does not rotate around the sun on petrol pruchased from Saudis with exhaust fumes let out from the polar caps..does it ?

Tesla was the last honest physicist.
His work was continued later in Govt-controlled labs in great secrecy so that any benefits from such research would not benefit the masses.

Erm gravity is the force what makes the earth rotate around the Sun...htf does gravity make 'levitation' possible?*Buckaroo* wrote:What drives levitation could be the same energy that drives the earth around the sun. Maybe Mister Illusionist gets himself up to a horizontal speed sufficient to put him in a geostationary orbit at a height of about three feet...Invader Zim wrote:Erm gravity is the force what makes the earth rotate around the Sun...htf does gravity make 'levitation' possible?*Buckaroo* wrote:What drives levitation could be the same energy that drives the earth around the sun. 'Gravity' will make it crash into the sun.
