I know many look at Doherty's career First Class figures & claim he is only a one day bowler but I think that it is worth remembering that last FC season he took 12 wickets @ 24.25 while this time around he has 7 wickets @ 20.71. That may indicate he has now learned to be effective in the longer game.

Well that was all pretty p!ss poor from the 30th over on. Fark, how do you let Malinga feature in a world record 9th wicket partnership?

Fast bowlers with peas for brains. The Lankans showed how to mix it up as a fast bowler.

Haven't heard yet but the number of Sri Lankan fans probably made up over half of the crowd and there can't have been 30,000 there.
