WE'll be lucky to get 230 here.
Once again the PP is botched up.

8/239. Got lucky in that their best bowler was only given 8 overs.

Hussey's first class/test form has been poor while his ODI form stands up. Will Hildick work this out and promote Ferguson?

I know many look at Doherty's career First Class figures & claim he is only a one day bowler but I think that it is worth remembering that last FC season he took 12 wickets @ 24.25 while this time around he has 7 wickets @ 20.71. That may indicate he has now learned to be effective in the longer game.

ChappellG is on record as saying he likes his loop and control and he was really impressed with him in the last SS match. It could be curtains for Hauritz.
The Lankans are meant to be good against spin.

bring back the Vics to polish off the tail (or leak some runs to make it a contest)

I can't think of a more clueless performance by any Australian team EVER. And don't worry, I have recalled many highly clueless recent performances in forming that conclusion.

Hilditch will no doubt talk about the positives in Hussey's return to some sort of form and Doherty's debut.

On the bright side, the sh!t* crowd turnout confirms that ODIs are well and truly dead in this country.

Well that was all pretty p!ss poor from the 30th over on. Fark, how do you let Malinga feature in a world record 9th wicket partnership?
Fast bowlers with peas for brains. The Lankans showed how to mix it up as a fast bowler.

Haven't heard yet but the number of Sri Lankan fans probably made up over half of the crowd and there can't have been 30,000 there.
Edit: quality use of my 1000th post just then...

Congrats on 1000, Ross.
I reckon about 80% of the crowd were Lankan. Good luck to 'em. They really got into the spirit.
