Here is what happened: Tendulkar went down the track and smashed it hard in the air to right of Harris who just about managed to get some hand on it. Laxman was outside his crease and the ball fell on the stumps at his end! Run out! Harris is bleeding. Blood on the pitch but he has run out, albeit accidentally, Laxman.

What an absorbing session of test cricket. SA still ahead imo because of the new ball factor. Two run outs in the innings ffs. Can't help feeling VVS could have avoided that run out if he was vigilant enough. But India had fair bit of luck at other times in the session.

His 126 against Aus at Chennai almost a decade back was as important. As was his another Chennai ton against Eng, chasing 387 in '08. As were quite a few more.

This was what Steyn said to Tendulkar,

I'm going to have to knock your effing head off, Sachin".

I hope Tendulkar gives him fitting reply by his bat.
