"Blind Freddy could have told you that Phil Hughes doesn't have a technique for Test cricket."
Oh no, what's happened to Flintoff? Pedalo II - The Revenge?

Michael Clarke is the next Australian Test and One day Captain, he is not in great form as we all know, However i can tell you that he will break records when it comes to test runs scored. Australia will win the One day series and then will go on to regain number 1 spots in all forms of the game. Just remember that even Allan border and Mark Taylor got dropped form the test team before going on to be great players and Captains for Australia.

'Even Allan Border was dropped'. Yeah, he played 3 Tests, was dropped for one test, then played the next 153 Tests Australia played before retiring. I doubt his missing one match in the famous WSC-effected flogging would have had much impact on his eventual captaincy. What a maroon.

Can't disagree with any of Hughes comments. England are hardly West Indies 1984 reincarnated...

Just finished reading the 140+ comments to the story. Some of them are unintentionally hilarious.

Except that I live in the same country as many of the commenters. And drive on the same roads as them. That's scary.

Was Tubby ever dropped (obviously Bradman will say he should have been shot)?

Taylor missed the 5th Test of the Frank Worrell series in 92-93 (Ambrose's 7-1 off 32 balls match) as 12th man, so I assume that was 'dropped'.
And he missed the first Test against Jaapan in Cape Town in 1994.

Well, Kim was wrong about Clarke ... though Clarke still hasn't gone back to # 4 yet.
