Of course, there comes a point where you've weathered so much gushing over The Wire that, were you to finally wake the f*ck up and rejoin humanity by watching it, it'd probably be a crushing disappointment because it's been built up too much in your fragile little mind.
You might have missed the window of opportunity...
Maybe I'll get it on DVD, make the bint watch it with me, be one of 'those' couples. I can certainly spit parts of large mouthfuls of burgers.

The Big Bang Theory is so diabolical that once I actually considered killing myself because of the existence of it.

Danny, skulls also thinks Modern Family isn't worth watching. His judgement on comedy must be considered suspect.

Speaking of comedy, has anyone ever seen It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia? Never seen it on TV but decided to give it a shot from my friend's recommendation and it was a god thing i did. It's hilarious at times.

Re: The TV thread
I've seen one episode of "It's always..." Can't remember how or where. Vague idea it was on British terrestrial/freeview somewhere, once upon a time. More4, perhaps? No - Virgin 1, before it went tits up.
Anyway - was all right. Swearier than I was expecting, what with it being American, the land of the prude. But that's all I recall.

Re: The TV thread
One of those shows that is developing a bit of momentum at present is 'Community'.
Some of the early episodes were very, very good. Some were godawful. It got a second season, andf the most recent episode (S02E14) will quite possibly go down in TV history as a classic comedy.
It is definitely worth a look.
