Didn't Fatty and Potter do it against the 'Bannies' a couple of years back? Hamilton or some such ungodly place?
Re: The 2011 Trivia Thread (II)
Indeed they did, Dan. Noice work.

Re: The 2011 Trivia Thread (II)
God, they're so fat and speccy respectively.
I've sort of 'cheated' and found the other by way of reading a couple of match reports of the one I got.
But I won't say, I'll let someone else get it. I'll give a clue though: Strines. One went 'BANG!' the other went 'QUNT!'.

Re: The 2011 Trivia Thread (II)
No such thing as cheating, Dan. I only "object" if someone finds one of my direct sources (not Cricinfo articles or trivia sections) and pretends they've done the research (you know who you are if you are watching).

Aye, well sometimes I have the answer but like to let others answer as they're probably trawling. I like this clues thing though...
Re: The 2011 Trivia Thread (II)
Good man. Feel free to point the punters in the right direction.
Yeah, JGK and others like a trawl. Our banker mate's excuse (he generally trawls after 6.00 pm Aus time from work) is that it saves him having to go home and bath the kids.

I'm glad I'm not the only one that noticed all the "aww, and he went BANG!" malarkey from the great Bill Lawry.

Re: The 2011 Trivia Thread (II)
Another topical one. Kirk Edwards made a 100 on debut for WI at Roseau, which was making its debut as a Test ground. He became the 12th player to achieve the feat. I'll give you Charlie Bannerman (in the 1st ever Test), but can you name the other 10? Some of these should be well guessable.

Dave Houghton made a century on debut so that would probably be on the list.

Quite right, Wally, that was Alec. Charlie is simply given as "C.Bannerman" in the scorecards.
