Not looking good for Salman Butt is the feeling. Perhaps better for Asif.

Having read a lot of the case, I'm amazed if there wasn't a unanimous decision of guilty. Their defenses look as ropey as a mothaf*cka.

WTF has the judge indicated that a 10-2 verdict was acceptable?!

Send them down for a decade each - and the "fixer" for twenty.

It's crazy that there isn't a verdict yet.

I remember at the time I figured out the odds of it being a coincidence that all of the no balls were bowled exactly when predicted.

It was something mental like 3 billion to one.

Just in- Salman Butt guilty of conspiracy to accept corrupt payments, and guilty of conspiracy to cheat.

Asif guilty of conspiracy to cheat.

Butt faces seven years jail.

Life bans I hope.

I think there would be some sort of sentence for Aamer and Majeed as well.

Racially-aggravated assault - ABH or GBH = 7 years. Attempted sexual intercourse with girl under 13 = 7 years. Telling two arseclowns to bowl three no balls between them = 7 years.

All as f*cking heinous as each other, I'm sure....

Aye. It sends quite a message. Attempt to rape a child or fix the result of 3 / 2700 balls in a cricket match, now I've written it like that it's very 'samey' crime indeed. I feel silly at my initial outrage.
