Finally Spot-fixing shit hits IPL fan. About time.

5 fringe domestic players in various IPL teams caught in a similar sting like the ones that caused Aamir and Butt their fall. Plenty of acceptance of spot fixing, corporate fixing for profits and black money/assets payments under table to beat the player base price rule. BCCI as expected has suspended the said players, blamed their linkages to previous ICL rebel league and refuses to entertain doubts about shady dealings of franchisees whose financial maze is enough subject for Financial Departments Investigations. When the BCCI President is himself an IPL team owner, with such blatant vested interests, can anyone expect BCCI to be interested in the truth or with the balls to clean the system up with so many bastards having a finger in the money pie and investments?

What was known all along has come out in open and BCCI as expected is busy burying it's head in the sand and trying to sweep it in carpet. And people here still want to follow Indian Punters League?

Its fantastic hat BCCI committee met to decide on course of action and decided that since 4 of 5 players were from rival ICL, it explained that it was an isolated incident. They decided that Franchisees were reputed and didn't need investigation. of course since one of the accused franchisees is also BCCI chief sponsor it has to be above board. Bastards!

Its a very lazy approach to call these players purely greedy. Most of them are really limited cricketers yet they are making tons of money through IPL so you won't convince me by saying that greed is the ONLY reason why they got involved in this mess.

I would say these players and most others involved in spot/match fixing are being threatened in to it. ICC should move forward and confess that this matter is out of their hands and should permanently partner with a "higher power" to limit the damage.

or just scrap its relationship with the IPL ... hand it over to the Pro Wrestling Management where it belongs

So KKR's owner superstar Shah Rukh Khan has been banned from Wankhede after cops refused to take action against him on charges of drinking and assaulting at MCA. And Aus player Pomersbach has been arrested for molesting a woman and assaulting her fiancee who had to be hospitalized with a bleeding face and partial hearing loss due to Pomersbach.

Assault or use of criminal force with the intent to outrage the modesty of a woman is what's written in section 354, I think. Could face upto two years in prison if found guilty of this charge.
