It started off mundane enough, except for Planet Pakistan's unlikely confession that he likes a bowler who isn't particularly FAST.
Then Henry tries to tell us Harris and Anderson are at least as good as, if not better than Steyn. I wasn't even sure which Harris he meant at first, Paul Harris? Ryan Harris? Chris Harris? ****** it, why not all three of them?
Then the philosophical conundrum that is comparing two totally different bowlers.
Bollocks, Jack Shantry is better than all of them - so there!

Yes but Jack Shantry is a completely different person to Dale Steyn, they don't even have the same first name, so it is impossible to compare them.

Do they have the same birth sign?

No. You can't compare an Aquarius (Shantry) with a Cancer (Steyn). Its impossible. An air sign and a water sign simply do not mix.

Few months ago. Even made a big deal about it.

Lara Lara Laughs wrote:I think this question can now be asked as Steyn has 250 odd wickets at 23 with a strike rate of 40 all over the world against diff teams, at the age of 28.
Who is the better bowler as things stand and a prediction on who you think will be the better bowler when Steyn retires.
And don't give me any of the "they're too different to compare" sh*t. Who would you rather have in your team.
My heart says McGrath for both, my head says Steyn.
Well, your heart's in the wrong place, and I don't know where your head is at. My head says McGrath, although Steyn is undoubtedly the more exciting bowler.
Really, though, they're too different to compare

Re: Steyn vs McGrath
Surely a strike rate of 40 is a record with a criteria of 250 wickets
