The one bad thing about the DRS
The exclamation point as the Umpire raises the finger is gone. Always in the back of my mind now, i'm thinking "will they review it? Is it a no ball?" You can't fully celebrate as the finger is raised, and it just takes a little bit away from the moment, imo.

It would be great if the umpires reverted to absolute benefit of the doubt whenever india are batting. The sreams from the bannie fans when they point at the technology proving the ump got it wrong would be worth the odd decision against us.

On the plus side, sometimes it adds majorly to the suspense.

In Billy's case, it's a question mark.

I think there is room for a new signal when the batsman has been given out, appeals, and is then confirmed to be out.
Keep the index finger for the first signal, use the middle finger for confirmation.

I also think the umpire should signal for a review with repeated movements of his thumb and forefinger around his nose, not with that that stupid square thingy.

Btw, Nathan Lyon was out plumb LBW twice today, but the biased, channel 9 operated Eagle Eye helped him out. I'm sure it would have shown his clean bowled at the end just sliding past leg stump......
