I've selected NO to all thread reply notifications on my profile, and yet still i'm getting an email each time someone replies.

Yes, the fault/bug lies with the hosts - it's a problem all their forums are having.

So it'll probably resolve itself in good time. Or you could all kill yourselves. The choice is yours.

I haven't, but I thought it was because I was deleting the watched threads under Profile (I was the only one around so the lack of traffic didn't allow any confirmation one way t'other).

The place is still clocking them up as being watched every time I look at a thread.
