I reckon we could get someone away from the sink for such an event
Rumours are he was at the footy in Pinjarra recently

Aye, q. Couldn't believe it. We sat watching the final JAMODI from SL the other night and she was genuinely in to it. Aus was doing well with the ball and she was raucously cheering along. She's either dinkum or going to extraordinary lengths to "please" me. And I assure you, she looks a shitload tastier than Debbie Spillane.

Actually the hot asian chick they have reading the news and one of the sports reporters were talking about jamodis and mentioned they were both looking forward to this summer and the real cricket to start?

Re: WACA's position on the "new" Wozzie Stadium
Hard to believe that after all these years we'll finally have a new stadium.
The tissues are now reporting Tests will remain at the WACA, apart from the Ashes...
https://au.news.yahoo.com/thewest/sport/cricket/a/32765028/ashes-cricket-tests-only-for-new-perth-stadium/?cmp=st
Hard to judge how many they'd get to the new venue, tho the Adelaide Oval experience would suggest that the new stadium would attract significantly larger crowds then would turn out at the WACA...

So no more Perth cricket like we're used to? Though it's been tamer recently anyway.

Re: WACA's position on the "new" Wozzie Stadium
nothing confirmed on subi
probably be bulldozed and turned into apartments
the handover date for the new stadium is supposedly dec 2017 ...the deals the stadium is offering the Dockers and the drugeagles isnt to their liking so they are threatening to stay at subi
decision will be made after that blows over

Queuing up for warm light beer is the reason I started scrounging seats to boxes in the first place. Haven't slummed it for years. Well that and the smoking.

Re: WACA's position on the "new" Wozzie Stadium
Apropos to the light beer story, I was reading this Brett Geeves article this morning, and chuckled at Roy's views on beer in plastic cups:
"If you’ve not been to the Normanby Hotel, you must go. And you must go this Sunday. It is the best Sunday beer in the country.
So as I am wandering downstairs to the toilet I see Roy surrounded by about eight blokes.
All of them are blind drunk and bombarding him with questions. They are yelling at him. They are drunk and excited. And given Roy’s gentle nature, he was providing them what he could. But I could see that his time with them was up.
On the way back past, I collared him and offered him a beer.
“Onya Greevesy, those blokes were starting to grind me”.
I leave Roy with a group of Tassie players to go and get a round of beers. Post-midnight at the Normanby means that beer is served out of plastic cups. It’s a pretty safe way of operating and well done to the establishment for taking that type of commonsense approach to safety.
As I hand the beers over to the group, I can see Roy’s body language and general demeanour change.
It’s as if I’ve spat at him.
“JESUS, GREEVESY, I DON’T DRINK BEER OUT OF PLASTIC CUPS, WHAT DO YOU THINK I AM!!??”
SPLASH!!
That plastic cup, and that beer, flew at my head.
And off went Roy, in the direction of the taxi rank via the kebab shop."
------------------------------------
Roy - an old school cricketer of immense talent lost to the national side because he wouldn't toe the disciplinary line.
"Greevesy" writes a decent article.

Lol. Smart move really, not least as it ensures Bog and Mere retire. Bonus will be the NSP selector on duty will be sober.

The grand old girl is looking good...
Expected to host the ODI v England in January as the official opener, tho the Scorchers may play an England XI in a couple of T20s in December to test the venue.
Testing of the lighting are going on tonight...a few videos posted on the stadiums twitter feed...

If he can carry on the same form, Brett Geeves is going to be one of the best cricket writers going.
