She was incompetent & she/Labor did have to go however very few deserve that kind of rubbish h, particularly children.

bodyline is simply strummin' his same old tune Mick...he is stoking the fires to burn anyone to the left of the criminal fascist Bjelke Petersen
of course the ALP were on the nose....qld hlth is the worst organisation in Australia...proves that doctors and nurses are useless at managing and that the the ALP Ministers for health failed to take on the hideous behometh- inc beattie
Bligh also annoyed the chips through asset sales and introducing an additional year of education into schools (bringing them on par with jurisdictions) - some chips think that Qldrs are so smart they don't need another year of school...others disapprove of education per se and want creation theory taught as a compulsorary subject and no mention of the theory of evolution....here they could be right given the high rates of developmental delay and slow evolution in that state
Anna is bright and competent and honest ...no wonder she is on the nose with the average QBilly politician

I think most politicians are probably decent folk but the inner qunt comes out under the intense blowtorch of politics, more with some than others.

I see that the newly elected CLP, who haven't even been sworn in yet in the NT, have already had a massive fight over who will be Deputy Chief Minister. The chick who was deputy party leader until yesterday and now won't be Deputy CM seems to have spat the dummy.

I see the Aus and Fin Review have exposed the Vulture's $4B Dental Plan as smoke and mirrors.

I heard she purchased a doll in the likeness of Glenn Stevens so that she could become a priestess of "voodoo economics".

sad about the Oz fatalities in a/stanland in the past 24 hours
expect the taliban will resume control within months of the NATO departure
even greater chaos will ensue...cannot see how the pullout can work for the locals

Not to mention the 90 odd drowned Afghan asylum seekers who were escaping the war and the Taliban.

Re: Aus Federal Politics thread (VI)
Try again...
Dear God, the Vulture has gone mad. Now she's intending to legislate ambition. Her 8 year Education Plan bill will be put to Parliament in the next 6 months. No detail (particularly on funding which she will no doubt delegate to the States), just ambition.
Pretty much sums up this useless Pinko Govt. Long on rhetoric, very short on how to actually achieve anything, other than waste money hand over fist. I see they are saving $15 Million a year by not allowing single soldiers to fly home from Wars to visit loved ones, but spending $25 Billion a year to keep the Indigenous population locked in a welfare system and fuelled on grog. Well played, you roobs.

I note that fruit Emerson will have to pull his "we are coming back" horns in after the latest polls.
