Re: Rugby League 2013
I think when you're holding a ten point lead with 35 min to go and then are dominated for a loss precludes precludes anyone from the opposition from winning the B@F. A close game for 80 minutes maybe.

Looks a fair game. Nice cheap shot by Sam Burgess on Sam Thaiday.

Meanwhile, those oh-so-Italian players the Minichiello brothers, Aidan Guerra and Anthony Laffranchi lead the Azzurri to a win over the Welsh. Well done them.

New Zealand score with seconds left to pinch victory from England & put them into the World Cup final.
It totally wrecked the local commentators' day.

Re: Rugby League 2013
That WAS pretty funny. Looked a fair game. Quality try by the mercurial Shaun Johnson then a conversion to seal the win.

Re: Rugby League 2013
It seems there's only two games really necessary - England v NZ, and Australia v the winners.
All World Cups other than football (soccer) are in the most part an extended, long drawn out exercise in minnow-bashing followed by a short knockout competition between the usual suspects. RL clearly lags some way behind RU and cricket in terms of depth of international competition.

Even the Soccer WC is a bit like that. The SF will be drawn from a pool of about 8 teams as usual.beamer wrote:It seems there's only two games really necessary - England v NZ, and Australia v the winners.
