They'd probably argue the restricted trading hours make it effectively a public holiday for most. Which actually just makes it worse.

If the 2 on 2 offs take annual leave they have 6 weeks off ...otheriwse generally not

In a development not very likely to turn Vic state politics upside down, opposition leader Daniel Andrews has announced that from now on he wants to always be referred to as 'Dan'.

May have worked for Jimmy Bartel but still sounds a bit desperate to me.

However he does get his very own Deep Purple riff to use as a fanfare:
