True.
Trust him though, seriously. He's already cheaped Test cricket with his money love, now he just can't be bothered to try and face balls, hence cheaping it even further.

Aye, at least his strop has ended and even in those five balls that he faces he scores more than what Brathwaite would in two hours.

Aye. Or Powell. Though I was surprised he was scoring at 60 today. Sort of makes me think that this Bangla attack isn't the best.

It was a moment of haziness. I didn't mean it.

So Powell, Shiv and Ramdin rained on the Bangers parade. Aww.

How many times has there been a six off the first ball of a Test?
How many times has there been two sixes in the first over of a Test?
my guess is once
The lass on the wireless this morning said Gayle became the first to hit the first ball of a test for six

Apparently yes:
Gayle becomes first to hit six off 1st ball of a Test
Also the youngest and oldest players in the Windies' side both scored 100s. How often has this been done? The gap between their ages is 15 years 202 days. What is the biggest age gap between 2 batsmen scoring tons in the same Test innings? I know the Gunns pere et fils both scored 100s in the same innings for Notts against Warwickshire at Edgbaston in 1930 so that is probably the fc record.

Apologies. The match in which both Gunns scored centuries was in 1931 not 1930. There was an age gap of 26 years 38 days between them. The older Gunn was 52 at the time. Sadly the younger Gunn failed to outlive his father by 8 months:
Warwickshire v. Nottinghamshire, Edgbaston, 22-24 July 1931

When Sir Jack Hobbs became the oldest player to score a Test hundred at the MCG in March 1929 at the age of 46y 82d Maurice Leyland, playing in his 2nd Test and first against Australia, also made 137 coming at No.7 (although the two did not bat together Hobbs being 3rd out). The age gap between them was 17y 202d. However Leyland was not the youngest member of the side, that title belonging to Harold Larwood:
Australia v. England, 5th Test, MCG, 8-16 March 1929

Smiffy hit a 6 off the first ball of his innings against India at Cape Town in 2006. However it was the second innings of the match.

So West Indies will win a tight match by an innings and 150 runs.

They're crabbing too much, given the score... pretty shellfish all in all.
Re: Bangladesh v West Indies, 1st Test, Dhaka, 13-17 November, 2012
Shiv scuttles his way to to a 203*.

An even bigger age gap than the Hobbs/Leyland instance occurred in the 2nd Test between South Africa and England at Newlands in January 1931 when Bruce Mitchell hit his maiden Test hundred in scoring 123 and Herbie Taylor struck 117 at the age of 41y 241d. The age gap between them was 19y 248d. However although Taylor was the oldest player in the side Mitchell was not the youngest, that title belonging to Xen Balaskas:
South Africa v. England, 2nd Test, Newlands, Cape Town, 1-5 January 1931

and I now see that JGK had got in first with a 173* tip
so Shiv's crabbing power is greater than the JGK woof
