Re: Bangladesh v West Indies, 1st Test, Dhaka, 13-17 November, 2012
At 38y 90d Chanderpaul becomes the oldest West Indian to score a double century overtaking Seymour Nurse who made 258 in his final Test innings against New Zealand at Christchurch in March 1969 at the age of 35y 124d. Chanderpaul becomes the 6th oldest player overall to achieve the feat behind Bradman (2), Sandham, Gooch, Hobbs & Rowan.

I think someone may have tipped that yesterday!
I'm not sure whether you were woofing him, though.

Follow on avoided, and Naeem's on 98. Now if he were to get those 2 runs before Trev arrived again.

Safe from doing a Trev because he's gone but Shakib Al Hasan is the Bangers best batsman, right?

He's their best player, not necessarily their best bat.

Good showing from the Bangers with the bat. Let's hope it's not a flash in the pan and actually some new found backbone.

Last time WI toured there. First test, I think it was rain affected but West Indies benefited from it apart from the usual.JGK wrote:Have the Bangles ever declared in Tests?

Nasir Hossain out for 96.
Is he now the best Nasir Hossain (or similar sounding name) to play test cricket?

No. I'd say he's now definitely the best right handed batting all rounder from Bangladesh called Nasir Hossain to play test cricket, though.
Well done him.
Will the Windies settle for a draw? I don't fancy Bangladesh to bat out a draw on the last day. The spectacular collapse is always just around the corner with them. Windies will probably try and bat until drinks tomorrow morning, then set the Bangers around 300 in 75 overs.

Gayle gone. Rubel's average has fallen by 5 runs after that. Special bowler.
