I want him playing for Queensland, not bloody Australia.

Lordy, what a pair of back-to-back peahearted efforts by the usually fiesty Tozzies.

So Uzzy looked the goods? Personally I hope Tonic goes OK and Uzzy is not needed. Let him make 1000 for the Banjos this season.
I still think he looks the technically soundest of the prospects in Shield.

Chappelli made a comment today about Quiney adding to the game with his fielding and bowling. It all seemed to be a bit of a dig at Khawaja.

I haven't seen much to suggest that Khawaja can't field or catch. He's not an outstanding fielder, but neither is Cowan, who seems to have been given more of a chance than Khawaja got.

Fine with Quiney for now but having Khwaja make runs in the Shield is good too, it as least gives an illusion of depth in the batting stocks and he can be called in for the 3rd Test/Sri Lanka should Quiney flop and Watson continues to be made of glass.

The Dutchman helps the Future Sozzies to 2/176 with a big 2nd wicket partnership. His partner is still in.
Slow start for the Wozzies in Dullsvile 2/53, North and Harris in.

He probably will be knowing their form.
Harris got his century and had a solid partnership anchoring the innings with Voges who just got out for 47. In with a chance depending on how well Wozzies can bowl.

Ownage half century for Denial. Slogging Sozzies all over, including to the cows. 7/327 with Mid-Strength not out on 51 batting with Midge.

WTF is Louis Cameron? He doesn't even have a birthday according to cricinfo:
http://www.espncricinfo.com/ci/content/player/333791.html
Meanwhile, the Trevving of Nic Maddison is just about complete.

Funny how Cameron White starts bowling again as soon as his spot in the Victorian side comes into question.

Not out on 108*
Bring him in in Adelaide for Warner.
Perth seems to be a batter paradise again. Only reason Hughes is still there 69*. Barrels 1/120

I'm not sure Phil Hughes making Shield runs means anything anymore. Decent bowlers are still exposing the same flaws in his technique.

Yep.
Over 28.6: Johnson to Hughes, no run, beats the outside edge as he tries to cut a short wide delivery. SA 1/109 (Hughes 66, Klinger 25)

I did say DECENT bowlers. Not Mitch. The only flaws that are exposed are a spell of his bowling are his own.
