Dear me, David Moyes. What's your next career move going to be?

Misery also for Pardew's magpies. Mauled by the Black Cats in their own nest. Too late for the Window, but maybe next time they will have to apply to Wonga for a fckwad of shark-infested dosh - and get the bailiffs and repo men in picking their bones a couple of months later. Qunts. They deserve every mauling they get, with loansharks the big-mouthed sponsors on their chests.

The Scum heading for easily their worst ever EPL season. Their worst ever seasons since the EPL was instituted in 92-93 were 01-02, 03-04, and 04-05, when they finished 3rd. On current form, they'll barely finish in the top half.

This could be their worst season in the top flight since 89-90 when they finished 13th in the old First Division.

I think all non-Scum supporters are entitled to a wee snigger .

Meanwhile, it's a cracking battle at the top. After 23 games each, Citeh are on 53, Arse 52 and Chelski 50.

And Leeds get their first win in ages with McCormack scoring a hattrick. Clearly what they need is another takeover crisis.

Unbeatable City beaten at home by Chelsea, confirming a three-way title race.

Still think they'll cross the line first, but their shoddy defence and lack of midfield cover if either Toure or Fernandinho is missing (as was the case tonight) was exposed.

Chelsea needed Matic more than they needed Mata. As a specialist holding midfielder, he gave them the discipline and balance in the middle of the park they've been lacking since Makelele retired and Essien knackered his knees.

He was boss.

Least surprising football development of the season, out of touch relic Joe Kinnear resigns as Newcastle's director of football after two disastrous transfer windows in which he failed to sign a single player.

Although he did manage to sell their star player, Yohan Cabaye. Who he thought was called Yohan Kebab.

It's not like anyone predicted that his appointment would be a farce...

Kinnear was the reason why Newcastle fans didn't want rid of Pardew, as he was the owner's obvious man in waiting to take over... bit like the Flower/Giles situation in English cricket. It's quite a good plan for the person in charge of a team, protect your man from the fans by having the most unpalatable alternative sat behind him as the likely successor if they dare to force him out!

No. The Silver Fox was, and is, boss. Mr Big. The Brain, Dick AND Balls of CFC.

Why were Matic and Mata mutually exclusive? The sale smacks rather of a slightly desperate sabotage attempt on Chelsea's rivals this season. And the Devil take whatever havoc Mata may wreak for MUFC - including v Chelsea - in succeeding seasons.

I can only suppose Joe Moore made the calculation, if he can just fall over the line this season thanks to his old Mata scuppering City and the Arse, he will then get megafunds to splash, making the weaving little genius irrelevant next and further seasons.

Or maybe JM has a secret plan to retire with his millions at the end of the season. Apres moi, le deluge pour Shelski.

Coutinho's passing, Skrtel's second and Suarez's volley were sexual healing.

Arsenal's midfield didn't turn up which made a decent defence look wanker than it is. Really missing Ramsey and have needed an elite DM for a long long time. Flamini's done a great job but they could do much better. I worry for them against Bayern.

And Hazard just gets better and better.
