I think mine is pretty obvious, so no explanation needed.
my old one - Master of his Domain was something that was used in Seinfeld.

Re: Origin of ID's
G-Man - for quite a while my real life nickname. Stopped seeing most people who called me it, sometimes I'm 'G'.
Gillux - another nickname
Ngam - Topical. A cricketer who's an anagram of g-man.
Batfink Returns - A mickey take of Batman on C4(good old Vikas)
Batfink Begins - A harp back to those days, fresh new forum akin to new director.
One Large Cocoa Bean - Pretty much meant 'sh!t'.
Brass Monkey - In a way Beastie Boys inspired, though I've always like the name.
Comical Smoking Monkey - Reminded me of the 'smoking is bad monkey' used in science class.
Lucky Pierre - Just found it funny the first I heard of it.
Sir Digby Chicken Caesar - Tribute to the hilarity of SDCC.
Spooky Fool - one woman's nickname for me.
Chicken Wings - coz me and a colleague thought it would be funny to share an ID. We were quite new. We were eating chicken wings at the time.
SpeedyBrettLee - coz me and a colleague thought it would be quite 'good' to defend poor old Brett from his compatriot's constant derision.
Im wary of Cheese soups - coz I'm damn f'kin wary of cheese soups.
Funky Gibbon - Just another simian theme.
Probably missed out sh!tloads. But who can be bothered.

The bird's mum just has weird nicknames for everyone. For instance, my brother is 'City Carrots'. Why, I don't know. Madness probably.

- tailender: The first two I tried on the ABC were already taken. Then this abomination came to mind. Have regretted it ever since.
- freddled gruntbuggly: Douglas Adams and poetry - it's a combination made in heaven.
- riff raff: We cast the Rocky Horror Show late one night on the ABC. This was just so me
- deepthirdman: One of my diving nicknames. Wanted the other (FILO) but it was taken.

You've been yourself. Nothing wrong with that.

You mean the bloke who forummed from work and moaned about everything and everyone in the entire universe, kind of a Victor Meldrew. He just disappeared and now I can't remember his name, it wasn't old man but something akin to it and possibly cricket related....
I'm going have to rack my brains now to remember it...
Curses on you JKL, it's going to bug me now!

Sorry, I wasn't ignoring you on purpose, darling, just reoccupied and well sometimes when you go on a bit you become background noise.

btg? doesn't hit me as being the guy...
might've been though - definite Victor Meldrew material. Like it was one of his lifetime achievements that he didn't post on here outside of work hours like us sad farqhars
